The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- as seen in the illustration, all figures are with chips and flakes, surface scratches, loss to pigments and earth encrustation
- some figures have a few short restored cracks
- some of the remnant pigments have been refreshed
- five figures with holes to back of the heads
