The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First:
-a small section of loss to the bat's wing to the lotus leaf on the base, with associated chips
Second:
-a few minue nick to the edges
-a tiny knock to the back with associated fissure
Third:
-a tiny knock to the area below the whisk
-a perforated hole to the underside of the beast
-some chips to the edges of the base
-a few minute tiny nicks to the edges and extremities
All three:
-there are some natural inlucsions and fissures in the stone
