amber: chips and surfaces losses to the area around the mouth, surface dent to one narrow side, a few minute nicks to the carved decoration
jade: portion of the embellishment on one side has been off and restuck with associated restoration, two minute nicks to the outer mouth rim, wear to the gilding and pigments, a flaw in the material which is nicely utilized in the carving
