The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- polished chips to the inner mouth rim where the cup would fit on the dish
- rubbings to the enamel, particulalry to the gilding
- polishing to the foot rim
- a few glaze gaps to the base; '2007.04' is written in black enamel and a Chinese character 'he' is incised on the base
