The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- restoration to the three smaller projections on top of the head
- one section of the left wing has been restuck
- there's likely restoraiton to the projecing elements, such as the ears, wings, and spines
- there may be some other restoartion, but none as readily visible either to the naked eyes or under UV lights
- there are expected small chips to edges and extremities
- there is some earth encrustation and remnant of colored pigments
