The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Red-enamedl dish:
- an area of enamel flakes near the center on the interior with associated restoration
- there are crackles to the enamel all over, as well as surface scratches
- '2004.23' is written in black enamel on the base
- polishing to the foot rim
Red-enameled bowl:
- four hairline cracks to the mouth rim
- a few polished areas to the center on the interior, possibly polished kiln grit adhesions
- a few very minute firing cracks to the base
- polishing to the foot rim
- '85.84' is written in black enamel on the base
Red-glazed bowl:
- appears to be in overall good condition, except there's polishing to the foot rim
- '2004.24' is written in black enamel on the base
