We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Meiping:
- some light surface scratches and wear
- '1958.88.9' is written in red enamel on the base
Wine cup:
- extensive rubbing to the gildling on the mouth rim
- '28.X.11' is written in red enamel on the base
Saucer:
- surface abrasion, particularly to the pink enamels on the interior
- a few minute nicks to the foot rim
- a few small glaze gaps and a kiln grit adhesion around the foot
- '184.1928.235.14' is written in red and brown enamel on the base, with a collection label
