We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There is minor foxing across the paper surface and silk mounts of both scrolls.
- There are multiple small holes the size of a pin head in the upper left of the left hand scroll. These pierce through the silk mount and backing paper. The largest hole in the paper surface measures max. approx. 0.1 cm by 0.2 cm. The largest hole in the mount measures max. approx. 0.5 x 0.4 cm.
- There is a label on the right-hand scroll of the couplet, reading: teshu gongse xuanwu jingying guanli chu (特藝公司宣武經營管理處).
