The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are creases on the paper surface and small losses of paper consistent with age.
- The largest loss of paper is in the upper right of the painting, measuring max. approx. 7 cm x 3.5 cm.
- In some areas of lost paper in-fill painting has been applied directly to the backing paper. The largest in-fill painting measures max. approx. 0.9 x 0.6 cm.
