The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The cups, covers and saucers:
- One cup has a few nicks to the rim.
- The other cup has some small retouchings to the rim.
- One cover has some glaze frits to the finial.
- One saucer has a reattached rim chip of max. approx. 5 x 2 cm with a small related forked hairline and some smaller chips and nicks to the rim.
- The other saucer has a hairline rim crack measuring max. approx. 2.5 cm long and some small retouchings to the rim.
The 'prunus' saucers:
- Both are pierced through the foot rims for hanging.
- Both have some very small rim chips and frits and tiny nicks to the foot rims.
