The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The ewer:
- The spout has been restored.
- There is a tiny nick to the mouth rim and a small area of glaze crackles.
- There are a few tiny glaze flaws.
- The cover has a firing flaw and the finial has been re-attached.
The jar:
- Approx. 2/3rd of the rim is chipped.
- It has a restored rim crack of max. approx. 2.5 cm long.
The melon-shaped jarlet:
- The neck has been restored.
- There is some wear to the glaze in keeping with the age of the object.
