The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The jadeite figure:
- There are some small nicks and a few bruised areas to the extremities.

The serpentine figure:
- A section to the object in the lady's hand and a section to the ribbon have been chipped off and missing.
- There is a hairline to the edge of the right sleeve.
- One section of the robe below the hand has been grounded down.

Both figures:
- The stones have some natural inclusions, flaw lines and flaking.
- There are some general wear and scratches to the surface.
