The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are a few shallow chips to the base rim, the largest measuring approx. 1 cm wide.
- There is a hairline to the underside of the mouth rim, measuring approx. 1.2 cm long, which is not visible on the front.
- There are some general age-related scratches to the surface and rubbing to the enamel and gilt, predominantly to the centre of the interior, as may be expected.
