The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

-This group comprises three soft-paste porcelain vessels, each of which has the glaze crackles associated with soft-paste porcelain of this period.

The white-glazed washer:
- There are a few tiny firing flaws and a small glaze frit to the lingzhi.

The white-glazed brush pot:
- There are some small firing flaws on the rim, in keeping with its manufacture.
- There are a few tiny nicks on the rim.

The blue and white water pot:
- There are two small, barely visible X-shaped glaze cracks to the interior of the pot that do not show on the exterior.
