We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are several cracks to the rim, with associated losses and crackling to the enamels.
- One of these cracks has an associated restored section (approx. 10 cm. wide), with traces of a pair of old rivet attachments to the reverse.
- There are various losses to the enamels, particularly to the inner rim, some with overpainting.
- There is a section of verdigris to the interior base edge.
- There are chips, bruises, and wear to the enamel of the interior, some areas possibly infilled.
- There is an old crack to the metal of the base (approx. 1.5 cm. long).
- There are dents and wear consistent with age.
