The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- a section of loss to the figure’s celestial scarf near his shoulder, another small loss to the scarf on the proper right
- loss to the inlays and the figure’s attribute in his proper left hand
- the rear end of the wheel’s axel appears to have been cut
- other expected small losses to the extremities
