The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. De petites traces de frottement associées à de petits manques de matière sont visibles le long des bords, probablement dus à un ancien encadrement. Quelques petites accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.
The surface is slithly dusty. There is some rubbing associated with small paint losses along the edges, and presumably due to a former framing. There are some pinpoint accretions in places. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
