The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. Un trace de frottement est visible dans le coin inférieur droit. Un éclat de matière est visible au centre, dans la zone marron. Quelques accrétions de surfaces mineures sont visibles par endroits, notamment le long du bord gauche, dans la partie haute. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dusty. There is some minor rubbing to the lower right corner. A small paint chip is to the center, in the brown. There are a few superficial pinpoint accretions in places, especially to the left edge, in the upper part. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
