The porcelain handles with various military scenes in the rococo style, the silver cast and chased with rocaille and scrollwork, with mermaids supporting the fork tines and spoon bowls, apparently unmarked except for 1872 French import mark, comprising:
Eight forks
Eight knives
Two serving spoons
All in three green velvet lined fitted black leather boxes
5 oz. 6 dwt. (165 gr.) weighable silver
