Five woodblock prints from the series Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido Road
Five woodblock prints, each from the series Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido Road (Tokaido gojusan tsugi no uchi), also known as the First Tokaido, signed Hiroshige ga, published by Hoeido, circa 1833–34 and comprising:

1. Miya: Festival of the Atsuta Shrine (Miya, Atsuta shinji)
2. Yoshiwara: Mount Fuji on the Left (Yoshiwara, hidari Fuji)
3. Kusatsu: Famous Post House (Kusatsu, Meibutsu tateba)
4. Fukuroi: Tea Stall (Fukuroi, dejaya no zu)
5. Hara: Mount Fuji in the Morning (Hara, asa no Fuji)
Each horizontal oban:
25 x 38cm.
