We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
It is in our opinion that the property is in fair overall condition for its age.
- The jug has a hairline with associated minor loss to glaze extending from the mouth near one corner to the lower body, measuring approx. 16.5 cm
- Both cover and jug have a few short fine firing cracks and minor glaze gaps to the edges, and minor burst bubbles
- The jug has one deep but short firing crack to one corner on the interior
- The foot rim of jug appears to have been polished
