The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired since its initial manufacture.
Blue and white:
- leans slightly
- a few small iron spots and burst bubbles, including one on the mouth rim
- some expected light surface abrasion and scratches
- a small glaze gap and a burst bubble go the stem foot, and some light fritting to the raised bow string
- possible light buffing to the foot
- an large part of the bowl fluoresces differently under UV inspection
- otherwise appears to be in overall good condition
white:
- appears to be in overall good condition
- a few expected tiny burst bubbles, iron spots, small bumps and small irregularities which are all original to manufacture
- “1998.67.64” is inscribed in black above the foot on the exterior
