CHINA, JIAQING SEAL MARK IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- One hairline approx. 7 cm., extends from the mouth rim; another hairline with an associated small chip to the mouth rim
- A few other small chips to the mouth rim
- Some very minor rubbing to the gilded characters; some loss to the gilt on the mouth rim
- A glaze line and a firing crack visible only from the interior
- Some surface abrasion and scratches particularly to the interior
