The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- A hairline approx. 5 cm. extends from the mouth rim at 2 o’clock
- A few touched-up chips and nicks and some fritting to the mouth rim
- A flaw and a few nicks to the foot rim
- Scattered pinprick holes and a bump to the reverse
- Expected light surface wear and some rubbing to the enamels and gilt
