The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
It is in our opinion that the property is in good overall condition for its age.
- There is a small dent to the top of cover.
- There is a touched-up small chip to one narrow side of one case.
- There are a few scattered speck-like loss to the gold lacquer, light and expected abrasion to the risers, and some faint surface scratches consistent with age and use.
