We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
It is in our opinion that the property is in fair overall condition for its age.
- There is some expected minor loss to lacquer to one cord hole on the cover and another on the bottom case.
- There is a shallow small chip to the riser of the bottom case.
- There is a tiny shallow chip and a nick to the third case’s bottom edge, and a few other expected minor nicks overall.
- There are some faint short cracks and surface abrasion to the lacquer on the risers and interior of cases.
