It is in our opinion that the property is in good overall condition for its age.
- There is a short and very faint age crack to the third case on the side with the mythical beast.
- There is some expected light surface wear overall.
- There are some expected surface abrasion and a few negligible dents to the risers and to the underside of cover and cases.
There are some minor loss to the gold inlay and two minor chips and a few tiny dents to the netsuke.
