We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired since its initial manufacture.
- a minute nick to the inner mouth on the arm of the beast
- a firing crack to one chilong’s body near the handle on the upper section
- a fine circlular line on the back of the main chilong on the top of the handle fluoresces under UV inspection
- a few minute nicks to the foot and the foot appears to have been polished
- a few short firing cracks and glaze gaps to the underside
- a few small glaze gaps to the body
