The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- A hairline approx. 2.5 cm. , and a short firing crack under the glaze to the mouth rim
- A small network of glaze lines to one fish; the corresponding area on the underside of the base also have a few glaze lines, and it’s difficult to ascertain if these could be hairlines
- A few chips and nicks to the foot rim
- Some minor irregularities to the glaze to the underside of the base
- Expected surface wear overall, particularly to the interior, and a few light scratches
