The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
One figure:
- One hairbun broken and restuck.
- An area of restoration to the proper right hand.
- Some areas of restoration to the stand, the figure possibly refixed to the stand.
The other figure:
- Two corners of the base broken and restuck.
- A few areas of restoration to the base and the hands.
- A few nicks to the extremities and edges.
- Some fritting.
- Some firing faults.
- General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
