The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-Both have a fine hairline crack to the top of the head and some tiny minor chips to the edge of the base
-One monk with restoration to the scroll tip, exposed foot and to a small crescent-shaped section of the base. He also has a small glaze flake to one cheek.
-The other monk with restoration to his scroll, three left finger tips and two chips to the base. His right pinky finger tip missing.
