The five round dishes set on low round feet, each decorated in polychrome lacquer takamaki-e, kawarinuri imitating bronze and tree trunk and inlaid mother-of-pearl, ceramics and leed with flowers and boat, set on black ishime-nuri (imitation of stone), the reverse in red lacquer
7 in. (17.8 cm.) diam. each approx.
