We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One group (female figure in blue):
- Some tiny scattered chips and light flaking and wear to the enamels, with a few areas of associated overpainting
- The female figure restored through the neck with associated spray to her head and upper back
- The male figure with a restored chip to his hem at the reverse
- A few shallow chips to the underside of the base
The other group (female figure in yellow):
- Some minor chips and frits including but not limited to the male figure's cheek, his right foot, one finger tip and his hat as well as the applied flowers on the headdress
- Some scattered wear to the enamel and a shallow chip to the underside of the base
