The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Footed dish:
- Appears to be in overall good condition
- Two small shallow chips and some light fritting to the mouth rim
- A glaze crack along the bottom of the well runs from 12 to 3 o’clock
- A few short and light surface scratches and some expected wear to feet
The other dish:
- A rim hairline approx. 3 cm.
- Some light fritting to the mouth rim, some minor flaws due to firing to the front, and some minor glaze gaps to where the foot joins the base, all original to manufacture
- Some light wear overall
