The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- patches to the feet, recarving on the front apron, and patched mortices suggest this was made from re-used timber
- drawers and drawer runners are made in secondary wood, and have evidence of wear
- section of loss to beading on the proper right side
- expected wear to the frame where the drawers rest
- expected minor nicks to edges, surface wear, and age cracks
