The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- a few shallow chips to the foot rim but these are not obtrusive and the bowl is in good condition
- some fritting to the mouth rim and a few frits and small iron spots overall
- an iron spot to the foot where it meets the body
- a burst bubble and other smaller ones to the underside of the base
