The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work is unframed. There is an area of fine craquelures in the upper right corner (approximately 4 x 8 cm. area). There is a dent near the lower right corner (approximately 1 x 1 cm. area). There are light abrasions on the lower right and upper left corners and the nearby edges. Intermittent surface soiling marks are visible close to center of the work (approximately 1 x 16 cm. area). Minor signs of handling marks are visible around the edges. There are scattered faint horizontal abrasions in the center of the canvas. When examined under ultraviolet light, no inpainting was visible.
