Audrey Hepburn was photographed in Rome, January 1971 wearing the pink silk belt during the after party for Valentino Garavani's couture show for his Spring/Summer collection 1971. Eduardo Damasceno Sousa has advised us that the belt formed part of a Valentino evening ensemble with black sleeveless gown with midi length silk taffeta skirt applied with velvet ruffles and chantilly lace from the couture collection of Autumn/Winter 1970/71.
