Various assorted buttons including plastic, fabric covered examples and several small ones composed of paste and simulated pearl. Some are worn and the odd fabric example discoloured. The box is covered in pink silk, slightly faded and worn. The lid is loosely connected. Previously the lid has been a taped to secure it, but this is removed and now leaving a slight shadow. The other ribbons and fragments of material are of varying lengths, some velvet, silk and other, some fraying to edges and loose threads commensurate with age and use.
