The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Leggere abrasioni e alcune piccole cadute di colore lungo i margini, di cui le maggiori nell'angolo superiore destro; leggeri graffi nell'angolo inferiore destro.
Una puntiforme caduta di colore al centro del profilo verde del camino verso il basso.
Un punto di pressione al centro del fregio del camino.
Esaminata alla luce ultravioletta, non presenta tracce evidenti di restauri.
Tenuto conto di quanto sopra, è nostra opinione che l’opera sia in condizioni di conservazione molto buone.

Support and paint film in good condition, the work is not lined.
Hairline cracks in places, especially corresponding to the upper and lower edges.
Light abrasions and some small paint losses along the edges, the major of which to the upper right corner; light scratches to the lower right corner.
A pinpoint paint loss to the centre of the green outline of the fireplace downwards.
A pressure mark at the centre of the fireplace frieze.
When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no indication of inpainting.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
