The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Father of the blues – cloth sunned, wear and splits to cloth at corners and spine ends. Bright dust-jacket with front flap clipped (affecting title), some loss to spine ends, two small holes to spine fold, shallow chipping and small closed tears to edges, splits to front panel spine folds. Rear inner paper hinge expertly reinforced. Text block with a few pages with turned-down corners, light foxing to fore-edge and toning to endpapers.
Letter – old mailing folds and a vertical crease to the right of the text on each page, rusted staple hole to upper left corner, scattered staining and toning.
Unsung Americans – foxing to frontispiece portrait and rear board, edge wear to boards and spine ends, small crease to front board upper right corner, full split to front joint, dust-jacket bright with light edge wear.
