General handling creases, edge wear, toning and light soiling, pencil marks and lightly scuffed spines consistent with age and use. In detail:
The record portfolio with front joint split, rubbing to extremities, some soiling and staining to pastedown, staple rust stains to manila sleeves, one original 10-inch shellac (part 3 and 4), the others two replaced by shellac records from JATP Vol. 8, one of which has been cracked, all three records with surface abrasions and scratches.
The 12th programme with some ink transfer residue from one page to another, Oscar Peterson and Gene Krupa’s signatures written in pencil, the former slightly faded. The 13th programme with some minor marginal edge wear and pencil marks to the cover, one double-page spread that has come loose from the spine. The 14th programme with Dizzy Gillespie and Louis Belson’s signatures in pencil but well preserved. The 16th programme with marginal edge wear to the front cover and reverse.
The photograph with editorial cropping to right edge, rippling to left edge from being clipped at one time, some original retouching to image, and general light edge wear and handling dings consistent with age and use.
