Contemporary blue pebble-grain cloth, original wrappers bound in, fabric spine label lettered in red (extremities lightly rubbed); housed in a cloth chemise within black morocco-backed slipcase. Provenance: George Gershwin (1898-1937; ink inscription in the hand of:) – Ira Gershwin (1896-1983; presentation inscription on endpaper to:) – Dr. Albert Sirmay (1880-1967).
