Original red cloth, spine lettered in black (spine sunned, small stains to upper joint, top edges of boards slightly dust-stained, faint spotting to fore-edge, minor spotting to endpapers); original dust-jacket supplied from another copy (minor marks and rubbing along folds, head of lower panel with chips and crease). Provenance: Charlotte 'Carlo' Fisher (1895-1976, secretary, amanuensis and close friend of Agatha Christie; presentation inscription by the author on front free endpaper, and with Fisher’s posthumous book label).
