The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition; minor surface wear and some wear to the enamel and gilt decoration; the central vase with a small nick and a shallow chip to the mouth rim, with flaking to the blue plumage of the pheasant; one of the flanking vases with a stress crack extending to each side behind the lower handle terminal; the other vase with stained crazing visible along the edge of the shoulder and neck.
