The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First:
-There are two minor areas of fritting on the mouth rim.
-There is residue of old wax on the foot rim.
-There is an area of touch-up to one side of the foot.
-"25.1018" has been inscribed on the interior of the foot.

Second:
-There is a chips and a few nicks to the mouth rim.
-There are glaze lines.
-There is a chip to the interior foot rim.
-"25.1470" and "966" have been inscribed on the base.

Third:
-There is a glaze burst on the interior.
-There is a stained hairline to the upper body.
-There are glaze lines.
-25.1469" and "965" have been inscribed on the base.

Fourth:
-There are a few glaze burst bubbles.
-There is a small chip to the inner foot rim.
-There are glaze lines.
-"25.1023" has been inscribed on the base.

Fifth:
-There is a hairline extending from the mouth rim to the body.
-There are pinprick holes.
-"37.953" has been inscribed on the base.
