We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Figure with flute:
- restoration to proper left hand, restored breaks to neck and both arms
- a TL test drilled hole to underside of foot
figure with small cymbals: - restored break to neck and both arms
- minor chips to cymbals
both: chips to edges of base, small glaze chips to hair, areas of flaking to glaze, areas of overpainting associated with restoration
pottery figure:
- restored breaks to neck and to lower body; a triangular section of headdress and parts of the lower body are possibly made up
- some expected loss and flaking to pigments
- 5 TL test drilled holes to base and one to the back
- the figure is very worn
