The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. There are some minor surface scratches in the black enamel and a more pronounced scratch running diagonally into the design of the singular figure's arms on one side. There are a few enamel flakes on the exterior edge of the mouthrim and footrim. The footrim and the inner mouthrim have been polished. The overall design is well painted.
