We have sought to record changes in condition to this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. The first: Has rust around the mouth, shoulder, one side, and around the interior and exterior of the foot. The metal collar is possibly replaced. There are imperfections in the casting- a small hole on the shoulder and in the trees near the upper band of the panel. The patina is possibly altered. The second: Marked china underneath. The third: There are areas of rust to the iron surfaces. There is a chip to the outer mouthrim and a casting flaw to one shoulder and the flat lip
