We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. The first bottle has minute nicks and areas of polishing to the inner and outer mouth rim. There are areas of abrasion and light scratching to the surface. The black layer is very thin. The second bottle has two shallow dimples near the shoulder and at the lower edge of one narrow side. There are minute chips to the inner mouth rim and the outer mouth rim may have been polished. There are some minor scratches to the surface.
